Kathrine Allen

Community Programming Team

Kathrine Allen was born in Jamaica and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, where her passion for community, health, and service began to take root. With a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s in public health, Kathrine has built a remarkable 14-year career in healthcare, including over a decade of experience in clinical research across a variety of therapeutic areas. Today, she is a successful Clinical Research Consultant focusing on oncology trials, bringing her expertise to projects that make a real-world difference in people’s lives.

Her heart for philanthropy began early—volunteering in high school with elderly care programs and early childhood Christian ministries. That spirit of giving has only deepened over the years. Kathrine has mentored young girls in grades 5–8, sponsored classroom laptops and school supplies annually, and played an active role in maintaining community gardens that bring fresh produce to underserved areas in North Dallas. Kathrine spearheaded the community service initiative 'ZFT Cares' for her local running club. The program focuses on serving the community by donating dinners, personal hygiene supplies, clothing, back-to-school supplies, Christmas gifts, and more. She has also supported health initiatives like blood pressure screenings and blood draws with the American Heart Association.

Since 2017, Kathrine has been a dedicated volunteer with Toast for Charity and now proudly serves on its advisory board. She has volunteered and helped manage the Ready, Set, Readprogram with Toast for Charity for the past three years. Whether donating her time, resources, or compassion, Kathrine lives by the belief that true impact is made through service. Her journey is a testament to the power of purpose, and she continues to inspire others through her unwavering commitment to helping communities thrive.
